Ethanol groups rev up PR engines as political support wanes

With billions of dollars in annual subsidies for ethanol set to expire at the end of 2011, associations take case to the public. Associations representing corn-based ethanol producers and distributors have turned to advertising and NASCAR in an effort to win public support as the deadline approaches for phasing out nearly $6 billion in annual federal subsidies.
